Sectoral Committee: Scope and Mandate - General
Introduction: The Board of Management of the RPSL Consortium has identified committees to undertake certain projects within the scope of its objects referred to in Article 3. Accordingly, the committees have been formed based on the interest shown by our members.
Members: The sectoral committees include a chairperson, deputy chairperson, convenor, secretary, treasurer, committee members and volunteers. . If the committee wishes to accommodate non- RPSL Consortium members, prior approval must be obtained in writing.
Rules: Members of the committees are hereby requested to follow the Articles of Association and the sectoral procedure specified in the sectoral committee’s ToR.
Objective: The purpose of the committees is to identify the issues that need to be addressed in an orderly manner with long-term perspectives. The selected members of the committees will develop a strategy and action plan that will contribute to achieving the RPSL Consortium mission.
Sectoral Committee Member
RPSL Consortium has formed five Sectoral Committees for the development of the community and to identify and take collective action on significant issues with the belief that it would empower community members and create more robust and more connected communities.
Youth and Women Empowerment, Law and Order, Interfaith Dialogue and Peacebuilding, Education and Awareness and Finance and Management are the sectors created for the time being. Each Committee has its mandate and terms of reference. The esteemed advisory panel members also joined with the sectoral Committee (s) to guide and advise the teams to achieve the goals of each sector.
