SECTORAL COMMITTEES

RPSL Consortium has formed five Sectoral Committees for the development of the community and to identify and take collective action on significant issues with the belief that it would empower community members and creates more robust and more connected communities. Youth and Women Empowerment, Law and Order, Interfaith Dialogue and Peacebuilding,  Education and Awareness and Finance and Management are the sectors created for the time being. Each Committee has its mandate and terms of reference. The esteemed advisory panel members also joined with the sectoral Committee (s) to guide and advise the teams to achieve the goals of each sector.

Youth Empowerment Committee

The purpose of the Committee is to empower youth and women in the community in different spheres (social, economic, political and cultural) through suitable strategies. The successful strategies are expected to create individual and collective empowerment of women to live a decent life, increase their participation in the community, and guide and support the self-development of the younger generation by understanding the demands of the socio-economic environment and global developments. This sector consists of 02 advisory panel members and 48 volunteers from RPSL Consortium.

Women Empowerment Committee

Education and Awareness Committee

Education is a process of imparting fundamental knowledge and the tools to use those fundamentals to grow and expand beyond the base concept. Awareness is often achieved through education, training, or life experience; the goal of understanding is to change cultural sensitivity to a given topic or issue. This sector consists of 05 advisory panel members and 19 volunteers from RPSL Consortium.

Interfaith Dialogue and Peacebuilding

Interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding committees will strive to unlock the power of religious traditions and provide the inspiration, guidance, and validation necessary for populations to move towards non-violent means of conflict resolution. Such dialogues have become increasingly crucial for those seeking to end violent conflict worldwide. This Committee aims to promote respect and collaboration between different faiths and religions. It consists of 08 advisory panel members and 16 volunteers from RPSL Consortium.

Law and Order Committee

This Committee will engage in planning, setting up strategies, monitoring implementation and reflecting & revising strategies on matters relating to Law and Order. Primarily it focuses on whether the community is adequately encouraged, appropriately guided and efficiently systemised to respect and ensure respect for the law of the country and orders of the authorities. This sector consists of 10 advisory panel members and 21 volunteers from RPSL Consortium.

Media and Development

Media helps people be aware of and develop a consensus on critical national and international development issues. It also helps them understand the various obstacles in the process of development. This sector will pave the way to identify the specific roles that mass media play in developing our communities, including the transmission of social heritage, entertainment functions of the environment, correlation of part of the society and educating the masses and mobilisation function. This sector consists of 04 advisory panel members and 24 volunteers from RPSL Consortium.

Finance and Management

The Finance and Management Committee provides financial analysis, advice, and oversight of the organisation’s budget. Their sole responsibility is to ensure the organisation operates with the financial resources it needs to provide programs and services to the community. This sector consists of 10 volunteers from RPSL Consortium as members.
